About Boretech
Boretech Construction Limited have been established in the Construction industry for over 30 years, specialising in Civil Engineering and Groundworks. The company undertakes projects across the UK and has been involved in some of the countries most exciting developments.
History
Boretech Construction is a family owned company, established in 1990. Brothers James and Bernard McInerney joined forces with Noel Wrightson to form a team of Directors that would prove to be a successful business partnership and long lasting friendship. Bernard and Noel retired from Boretech in 2015 and today James and his daughter Sarah remain Directors of the company.
Boretech prides itself on the long service of many of our employees. Many have worked with us from the beginning of the company’s history through to today, helping us grow from strength to strength.
James McInerney
Director
James formed the business in 1990 with his Brother Barney and friend Noel. Together, they worked nationwide on many projects and dedicated everything to growing Boretech to where it is today. In 2015, Barney and Noel retired leaving James to continue driving Boretech forward. No job is too small or too big for James, who remains as passionate about his work today as he was at the beginning. It is this passion and ambition that drives James and achieves results that many other Contractors struggle to compete with. James oversees multiple projects at any one time, taking ownership of each ensuring all of them are being completed to the highest standard. It is James’s willingness to adapt his methods of work with the current times, that has seen him succeed in a fast changing industry. He is extremely proud of the team that has worked alongside him throughout his career, past and present.
Sarah McInerney
Director
Sarah studied Law at the University of Liverpool and went on to complete her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Chester. Sarah completed her training and Legal qualification as a Solicitor at Camps Solicitors. In 2014, Sarah joined Boretech to work alongside her Father James in the family business. Bringing with her a wealth of experience, Sarah has worked hard at growing and maintaining professional working relationships with some of the industry’s largest Contractors. She is proud to be a woman working in the Construction industry and is dedicated to ensuring that Boretech keeps its place as a key player within an ever changing industry.
Arthur Dickson
Site Supervisor
Arthur joined Boretech in 1990. From the outset, Arthur has played a key role in all of the projects Boretech has been involved in. His reliability and work ethic are a shining example to those working around him. Arthur is committed to driving results and is often working hard to provide solutions that reduce cost and increase efficiency.
John Cronogue
Lead Joiner
John joined Boretech in 1993. John’s expertise in joinery spans over 30 plus years and this is evident on site where he takes the lead role on a project. John is also an expert in our formwork system (Special Formwork). He is valuable member of our team and plays a key role in the success of all of our projects.
Jon Vowles
Quantity Surveyor and Estimator
Jon has been with Boretech since 1990. During this time, Jon has been responsible for the contractual and financial element of the projects. Always, ensuring that Boretech are competitive on price and delivering within budget and on time. Jon has delivered this on many high profile projects and was recently based at the Sellafield site for several years overseeing multiple projects.
